Some important biofuel crops are rapeseed oil or canola. Canola is more helpful because it has less erucic acid, which is healthy for both animals and humans to eat. Plus, rapeseed oil has been used for cooking purposes for ages. The production is easy and renewable if done correctly.
Corn:
Another example is corn which is considered to be one of the best biofuels ever to exist. The ethanol produced from these corns is mixed with gasoline which is later used in cars that release carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, and sulfur, saving the air a lot of pollution.
Sugarcane:
Sugarcane is a solid commercialized biofuel as Brazilians mostly used it when the oil prices reached sky-high. The fuel is stronger and far cheaper than the ethanol prepared from corn.
Importance of bio plantation
It is pretty visible that if we can produce these plants properly, it will become a great help for us in the future. One big downside is that it requires quite some money as the machinery used to make these are expensive and enough space is required. But that can be solved if we use planned forestation for producing biofuels. In that way, we can reduce deforestation to a great extent.
A report has been calculated that about 35million acres of land in America that could be used to produce bio crops is not in good enough condition to be used. The ignorance of the government and the people are the reasons why these sorts of problems occur. It is high time we get serious and do something about these.
We can say bio plantation is the future of fuel and energy, especially in 2021, where all this crisis is going around us and the fire catching in all the forests. There will be a time where families will not be able to cook food because there is no fire on the stove, and that will happen because we couldn’t conserve the energy required. This is why we must turn to bio plantations and other sustainable energy sources from now on.
